Milquetoast chameleon with deeply repressed emotions. Brilliant grifter, mediocre human.

• Straight, dark, medium length hair that is generally worn slicked out of his face, mildly fluffy when down
• Dark-eyed, always a little sleepy looking
• A bit lanky and long-torsoed but not gawky or awkward

• Eventually Maddy's feelings turned romantic and Qianxi's didn't; didn't really know what to do with the feeling mismatch but did express that he couldn't reciprocate
• Maddy sustained a serious injury protecting Qianxi on a job and Qianxi left once he was sure Maddy was stable, unwilling to let him get hurt again for his sake
• Has since worked a variety of jobs and moved around a lot; has made a modest reputation for himself of being reliable and competent
